Bio: Captain Tom Oldag is a retired arson investigator with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). He was employed by CAL FIRE for over 30 years. He has worked as a Firefighter, Engineer, Engine Captain, and 15 years as a full time Arson Investigator. Capt. Oldag has conducted over 1900 fire investigations. The majority of Capt. Oldag's case work is with wild land fire investigations. He is a recognized expert in wild land fire investigation throughout California. Capt. Oldag has testified as an expert on arson and homicide cases on numerous occasions. He has been the lead investigator on several wild land serial arson investigations. Capt. Oldag is also a member of the Sacramento-Sierra Arson Task Force and the El Dorado County Arson Task Force. He is a member of the California Conference of Arson Investigators.

Bio: Joe is a retired Supervising Bomb Technician and Arson Investigator from the California CDF/SFM. He has conducted over 800 fire and bomb investigations of every type and has testified dozens of times regarding his investigations over his 30+ year career. He is a long time arson-bomb instructor for the IAAI, New Mexico Tech, CCAI, and Cal State POST. Joe was an instructor for several years at the Forensic Fire Death Investigation Course. In 2019, Joe, along with co-author Ed Nordskog released a Field Guide for Fire Death Scene Investigation.

Bio: Wayne Miller was a Special Agent, Criminal Investigator and Certified Fire Investigator for the U. S. Treasury, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for 25 years. He has been involved in numerous high profile criminal cases involving illegal firearms, bombings and arsons. He was also a member of the ATF National Response Team, responding to major fire and explosion incidents. For the past 17 years, in the private sector, Mr. Miller has been a fire and explosion analyst for the Massachusetts - based Wright Group, Inc. ​ During his career Wayne examined 2,300 fire and explosion scenes, responded to 25 major incidents, and testified on over 40 cases in Federal and state courts, both criminal and civil. Wayne is the author of the just-released book, Burn Boston Burn.

Bio: Vic is a retired Contra Costa County Fire Protection District investigator who sleuthed down the origin and cause of thousands of fires and multiple serial arsonists in his more than 40 years in fire and law enforcement. Vic spent considerable parts of his career working wild land fires starting with Cal Fire/California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in 1976. He later took a job with the Vallejo Police Department. Vic is one of the few arson investigators in the world who worked both as a cop and as a firefighter. He is a long time instructor for Contra Costa, CCAI, and IAAI.
